Disney trip

Noriko was fascinated by the idea of going to a theme park with Remy, looking forward to spending time with her intended doing something decidedly not dangerous. She'd never been to Disney our Florida at all, but currently was sitting on the bed in the jet, gently rubbing lotion into her newly un-cast leg. She was still trying to reacquaint herself with not seeing people fiberglass every time. It was still a bit slow going with moving around and she had a brace to wear if she needed it: by far the most difficult challenge was having to take her time taking back up to her normal level of motion and stamina.

She stretched out her foot and poked her snoozing boyfriend gently with a toe, watching for his eyes to crack open: Noriko loved the colors of Remy's eyes, finding the colors beautifully exotic.

"Still sleepy?" she asked, crawling up beside him and flooding over onto her back. "I didn't think the sex was that vigorous."

Remy peeled eyes open, then chuckled as he rose and stretched. "The sex was good, sexybutt, but the long hours of days before the sex? Those took a bit out of me. Just needed a catnap." he smiled as he moved in and kissed her lips, and cheeks, and shoulders, then looked up at her again.

"How are you feeling?"

"Better without the cast," she said, laying alongside him and carefully combing her fingers through Remy's hair, kissing his forehead.

"Was I a terrible patient and made you tired?" Noriko asked, utterly comfortable naked and in bed beside him. "Thank you for taking me along. It feels nice to be wanted."

"I'm glad." Remy smiled as he looked at her with warm eyes.

"Not at all. It's just been a long week. And I wanted to get everything out of the way so we could enjoy this vacation and really just be us."

Remy kissed her softly. "You will always be wanted with me, always." He grinned like a kid, then. "And I wanted to come here with someone who I knew would actually enjoy it with me. Last time I came it was a disaster."

"Why, who did you go with last time?" she asked, settling back into the messy covers, glad to be able to freely move all of her parts. "I thought New Orleans for a week was nice, even if navigating it with your Guild girls was a lesson in not shoving someone into a fountain."

Nori is not saying she did that. Why would she do that? It's totally not because someone made a comment about her relationship with Remy. No. Totally not. The fact that she'd just pushed said annoying white girl with the rubber end of her crutches just meant the woman couldn't say she'd laid hands on her.

"Is it bad that I totally wish there was a Japanese princess? 'Cause I'd be that one."

"Three words; X-Men leadership Conference." Ugh, what a nightmare. Poorly planned and sloppily executed.

He ran a hand gently along her side, just enjoying seeing her smiling. "New Orleans will always be one of the best places to be, but I do like to go new places, especially with someone who makes me smile." And Noriko was that person. She had given him more joy than anyone he had ever known.

"There's nothing wrong with that at all. Sooner or later, i'm sure there will be. They keep adding new ones."

"Well, that sounds horrible," she said frankly, making a face.

"It was fun. And I really did like seeing your city. Could have stood to see more of you in it," she teased, leaning in and liking laying next to him, reveling in it a moment before getting up to put actual clothes on, total nudity being frowned on in public. "But hey, we have a week together for just that reason. Want to help me get dressed and put on the hardware again?"

"Absolutely horrible." He hated conferences. They never went well.

"I enjoyed seeing you there. I would love to go more with you. And at least once or twice not tell anyone we are coming." He'd like that. Show her some of his favorite places without hurrying or being watched, at first, anyway.


"I can do that. You want me to behave, or you want to take our time?" He winked at her as he rose and shifted to help her better.

"Well, I won't complain," she said with a wrinkled nose. "I mean, I like incognito as much as the next person."

She smiled as she sat up, stretching her arms over her head and reaching for her brace. "I'd like to be not naked when I put on the hardware," she chuckled. "I have doubts about your ability to behave."

Remy's smirk only got more smirky as he settled his hands to her waist, fingers managing not to wander anywhere, mostly. And if each breast did get one solid kiss and nibble, well... he was only human.

Noriko snorted, shaking her head at him and cupping his cheek in her hand. "You're ridiculous, and you know full well those were not harmed in the least. But since you're down there, you might as well hand me the pasties out of my bag." They were skintone silicone petals, because while she was not wearing a bra, she also didn't want to flash any children.

"I'll make it up to you later."

"You know you don't have to." He took the pasties out and handed them to her, grinning, as he shifted to keep her stable so she could attend to what she needed to. He did love to look at her, and his desire, and love, showed in his eyes.

"You are gorgeous."

"I know I don't have to," she said, using his arms to keep herself stable so she could stick the silicone petals where they needed to go. "But I want to."

The rest of the clothing was fairly simple; shorts, shoes, her rather flowy shirt, and sticking a few things in a backpack. She rather constantly needed food if she was recovering from something or moving around, and since both of those were happening...she was gonna carry something. "Should I let you get dressed before I try putting on this brace?" Nori asked.

"Or are you gonna try the commando look?"

He watched her with a warm regard, both lust and love, and grinned at her as she packed. "Either way works. I can get dressed before or after."

He chuckled. "I do prefer the fully dressed look out and about in homeworld." It was odd how words changed in his mind sometimes. But he liked having all his layers when they went out, unless it was specifically to mess around in near public. That would be different.

"Y' hold still a moment." he gently helped her find a stable way to sit or stand, and then skinned into his clothing, the underwear, followed by skintight armor, followed by normal clothing. He nodded as he turned back to her, stretching.

Nori had chosen to sit while he got dressed, the better to watch and not fall over. "Do you always wear your armor?" she asked, tying her shoelaces as she waited; she could bend her knees better without the brace on, so shoes first.

"Almost always. Since the new set can peel open when I want it to, it's convenient. " He waved at her leg. "And situations like dis don' make me wanna change that habit any."

His armor had cards, his spring staff, and a few tricks in it, as well as a comm line to call for help, if absolutely necessary.

He moved to her side as he finished and smiled. "And I'm used to it now."

"You think we're gonna be attacked?" she asked. "I mean, I guess anything could happen, but I'd like to think Disney World is safe."

She picked up her leg brace and stood, precarious on one foot and leaning against the side of the bed. "I kinda hate that you're used to being surprised by things like that," Noriko said. "Help me fasten this? I can do the top part, but the bottom straps are kind of a hassle."

Remy kissed her, and shook his head. "I doubt it. I would be surprised, but in truth, it has been years since I went longer than a month without being attacked somehow, somewhere. So... I am always prepared."

He helped her balance and nodded. "Sure, I can do that." Lending his strength to support her, nimble fingers were able to help fasten the brace as well.

"How long has it been since the last time?" she asked, mildly concerned. "I don't want you to be spending all your time looking out for things and not enjoying what's going on around us," Noriko said, standing more stable and looking at him seriously.

She liked that he was alert enough to know they were targets, but she also wanted her fiance to have fun doing random silly things too.

"I'll be fine. I promise. I am fully capable of having fun while being aware of the space around us." Remy was never completely 'off'. Ever.

"I have several ideas for fun things today.' he smirked at her and one hand cupped and groped her rear.

"I don't doubt that you're capable, I doubt you're inclined," Noriko replied. "Tell me what you have planned, then."

"First up, the Dino Bash, then the Great Bird Adventure, Lunch at the Satu’li Canteen. Then the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and a stroll along Disney's BoardWalk. That will probably eat up most of the day with stops for us just flopping and looking at everything. We can have dinner in the restaurant downstairs and enjoy the hot tub, if you like, after the long day."

He smiled, speaking slowly as he helped her.

Noriko listened, and chuckled, and shook her head. "That's a hell of an agenda, but how about we stick to one park a day?" she asked. "We have a week."

Now that she was more stable on both feet she could stand on her own, though she rested her hands on Remy's waist and touched their noses together. "Come on, Loverboy. We gotta get there first."

"Okay. Maybe we play it by ear, yes?" He was more than willing to slow down. he just automatically assumed fast and lots of action. It was his way.

One arm around her, he smiled as their noses touched. "Ready to get to the Door?"

"Yeah, I think playing it by ear might be better for us," she says. "Taking it at our own pace and all."

She nudged his ribs with her shoulder. "Yeah, I'm ready."

"Makes sense.' He grins at her and nudges her back, then walks wit her to the door and out. Getting down stairs and to transportation requires shifting, swearing, and some rather slow movement. But They get there, and into it.

The brace makes movement easier, sure, but it doesn't take it back to normal: Noriko still does have to be careful about how she puts her weight on it. But it's not stiffly immobilized and necessitating crutches.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?"

Moving with her, he smiles softly. Cautious, because he does not want to see her hurting more, but with joy in his eyes.

"Yes. I want to have fun with you. Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. If I stay put much longer I'm gonna go crazy," she said, squeezing his hand. "It's okay. It hurts way less than it did, and I'll be fine walking on it. Long as it's not a lot of stairs."

As soon as they were settled, she relaxed more, happy to be leaving the city behind for a little while; she loved the pace and the attitude of New York, but she was ready for a break. Especially after the several weeks they'd spent in the bar with nothing to think on except the bad parts. "You know I'm gonna make you wear mickey ears, right?"

Remy laughed. "I thought as much. I have a matching outfit waiting in my bags." He settled back and stroked her hair and neck gently.

"This is going to be fun."

"They don't have to match your outfit," she laughed, leaning against his shoulder. "You don't have to be on point the whole time. It's okay to relax, it's just me with you. No one to impress."

Noriko scooped her hair back from her face, leaning back to look at Remy upside-down. "I want you to have fun."

"I know.' he chuckled. "But its more fun that way." He smirked at her and kissed her, watching scenery go by. He was looking forward to this trip, a lot.

"You're really sweet for doing all this, you know," she murmured, leaning against his shoulder.

"There is nowhere I would rather be, no one I would rather be with, than with you. Doing all of this is just another piece of this life we have. Exploring things together, trying things together, seeing what works, what we like." He kissed her hair, holding her close, and closing his eyes as the car carried them onward.

Several hours later, Noriko stood beside Remy laughing as she tried to gain her balance after the teacup ride: she mostly had it back, but the fit of giggles had made her sway and stumble.

"Next time on that thing, less spinning."

Remy smirked, and poked her, but also kept one hand on her waist to help. He was laughing and shaking his head. "That was hilarious. I like dis place, chere'." He hugged her and looked around, eyes bright.

"More!"

"What, hilarious watching me try not to puke?" she asked, standing back up and shaking her head. "You're a terrible boyfriend."

She was obviously teasing, but snuggled up closer to him as she got her feet back. "So where next?"

He chuckled and hugged her, looking around, then smirked as he pointed. "That, there. I have no idea what it is, but it looks cool."

He pointed at a tall structure, one he thought was a ride. He didn't know the rides' names, all, and he didn't care.

"Then we'll head for that," she says, taking his hand and smiling. She had no idea what it was either, but didn't feel the need to check her map to see how to get there. "I think that's one of the rollercoasters here, but I don't know which one. Should be fun if I can get on it."

She knew some of the rides had restrictions on movement, but so far, all had been surmountable.

"We can try it at least, and maybe we will succeed, and maybe not. But at the l;east, we will have fun together.' And he pecked her lips with a kiss as they walked, hand in hand.

He carefully, if seemingly, casually, avoided people in their path.

"It'll be fine," Nori said, elbowing him gently. "You don't have to walk us around people, you know. Most of them are avoiding me anyway."

"I know." He poked her back.

"And I know. Its old habit. Its harder to stab someone when you can't make contact with them."

"You often worry about being stabbed?" she asked, giving Remy a look.

"Just because it's an old habit doesn't mean it's something you always have to do. This is what I meant when I said I wanted you to relax."

"Not these days. Once upon a time, sure. It was a part of my life, and old habits die hard. Plus, every now and then, some come back to try to stab me again." He never unlearned old habits.

"I am relaxed, Noriko. But this is a part of me. Just as knowing the distance to exists, to cover, and where people are around us without looking is. That isn't going to change."

"Let me know if you see any of them. I might have some choice words for people trying to stab you." Sure, those words will come after she blinds and probably severely impairs their ability to do much but lay there useless, but semantics.

"It's not that I want you to forget how to do those things or delude yourself into thinking they're unnecessary. I just want you to realize that there's two of us to watch for problems. You don't have to be the only one."

"Absolutely. I like to have some choice words with them myself.' he kisses her, then grins.

"I promise i will relax as much as i can. And I know. You are one of the most formidable people I know. I trust you at my back, any day."

"I'm glad for that," she says, kissing him back. "Because I might need you to give me a lift to somewhere I can sit and readjust this thing."

She has absolutely no problem with being given a piggyback or shoulder ride. None whatsoever.

"I can do that. And gladly." A hand slid along her side, narrowly avoiding copping a feel of her breasts, teasing a little and landing on her shoulder, giving a light squeeze.

"We can go around chasing the children and making them laugh."
