Noriko is rarely without her gauntlets, but obscenely early on this particular morning she is bare-armed for a reason, black latex gloves masking her hands and a black tee shirt masking her shoulders from the hair dye currently being applied to her head. Her roots are growing in a little faster than she'd like, so the darkest color blue is going on her scalp, and getting lightened as she goes down.

Notably this is only on most of her hair, because once the dye is in and sectioned off to set in properly Noriko is clicking on a pair of electric clippers and giving herself a side undercut. Might as well keep thing interesting.

Mags would be forgiven for wondering exactly what is going on given his twenty-year-old girlfriend is in nothing other than the tee shirt and gloves, perched on the bathroom counter to clean her edges. You know, a you do.

The little static frissions are easily absorbed, and all it does is make Noriko glow gently as she smiles, leaning her head into his arm to steady herself as he cleans the edges of the design. It tickles a little and he huffs out a laugh, wrinkling her nose.

"I like you playing with mine. Your hands feel good when you pull your fingers through it. Might be the only thing that makes me want to grow it out. It's been short for forever." At least since they've known each other.

"You gonna stay up now, or is there still a chance of bedtime?" Cuddles, sex, Netflix and chill, whatever.

He's still careful with her - static and metal can cause large shocks - but he's not careful because he believes her weak or delicate, he's careful because he cares. "I'm willing to put my hands in your hair any time you'd like. For however long you'd like." More than anything, keeping her happy was something he is willing to put a lot of effort in.

Not that doing something which also brought him pleasure was effort.

"Oh I believe I'm awake." Any and all of the above would be fine with him.

She laughed and wound her arms around his shoulders, head tilted up to look at his face. It was a nice face; Noriko liked looking at Mags, whether from opposite him or from where she usually liked to spoon up behind him in bed or on the couch. Television was much better when he let her sprawl on him.

"Help me wash the dye out, and I'll see what I can do about putting you back to sleep," she said, brushing her nose against his. "Might take a while, though. Since you so nicely offered no time limit to this."

It was impossible to not laugh as Noriko bumped their noses together. He's spent too much time alone to not relish the casual contact.

"I'm getting to play with your hair, you're going to to help me relax, what are you getting out of this?" His mouth turns up into a teasing smile, even if there's some truth to him feeling like he's getting more than he's giving here.

"I'm getting plenty," she says gladly. "Helping you relax makes me happy. You smile when you're relaxed and you have a gorgeous smile."

Noriko rubs her hands up her boyfriend's arms lightly. "Besides, if you're that awake I know exactly what you can do for me," Nori murmurs in a way that lets Mags know exactly what she means.
