If you had asked Noriko twenty-four hours ago where she thought she would be, on another plane of existence trying to worm herself into unfamiliar (and weirdly diaphanous) clothing while shouting through the door at other people would not have been her answer. But here she was, rapidly deciding that the dress made of some kind of very annoyingly clingy fabric was not at all worth the effort.

So her skinny jeans and boots it was, arms crossed over her chest because her shirt was in shreds as she opened the door. "I'm gonna need a shirt, might wanna get on that," Nori said shortly, in a tone that left no room for argument, before shutting it in the guard's face again. She still had her fans, footlong blades in steel with silk between, blunt-ended but strong.

The booming knock on the door not five minutes later made her eye the portal critically, calling out before she decided to open it. "If that's not my shirt, we're going to have some issues."

"Well next time on this wild ride I call a safer seat, preferably one that leaves me with all my clothes intact," she says, in between bites of a cheeseburger. "I mean, awesome on the science front. Relatively terrifying on the visuals, and this from someone who's gone with a transdimensional teleporter more than once."

She did not get a kick out of the bad-acid-trip light show, no.

"So when you keep adding 'yet' onto what you say, are there people who're working on getting me back home, or am I on my own for that?"

Thor chuckles, and nods. "I was once yanked through a portal like that, and ended up in Niffleheim, nearly naked and in front of several dignitaries. It was a very... tense situation."

He shakes his head. "I am sorry you were drawn here, but we had no control of it."

Thor nods now. "Heimdahl and Volstagg are both currently investigating ways of getting you home, and I have appealed to my father to try to power a one way portal, but I do not know if it will work." He sighs.

"Still, we are working on it." He smiles to her. "For the moment, however, you are here with us as a guest."

"Can I leave when I feel like it?" she asks, rather immediately. 'Guest', she has learned, has many varied definitions to many people. Some are much closer to 'hostage' than Noriko likes.

She'd like to make sure of exactly what parameters she has, preferably quickly, in case the need arises for her to vamoose. "I failed ET sociology, though, so who're Heimdall and whatever the other one was?"

Thor answers without hesitation. "You can go anywhere you like that you have the power to go. We cannot get you off of Asgard yet, but when we can, then you can go anywhere from there, as well."

"Heimdahl is God of Guardians, and the keeper of the gates of Asgard, former keeper of the Bifrost before it was destroyed. He can see into other Realms and worlds."

He smiles, thinking of Heimdahl. then he nods. "Volstagg is one of the Warriors Three, and a master of contacts both nefarious and bold, and he is good at seeking knowledge. He is querying his contacts for possible back doors to Midgard that may be open in this chaotic time."

"You only have three warriors?"

Wow, someone needs to coach Earth on the peace tactics, man. Or import the warrior training, one of the two. But something he says about the first guy seeing into other realms and worlds catches Noriko's attention. "The one who sees other worlds, Heimdall, can he see people in them? Like individuals?"

"No, that is their title. We have an army here, but the Warriors three are pre-eminent at what they do."

Thor nods, curious as he raises his eyebrows. "He can. Do you wish someone looked in on?" He shifted forward, curious.

Whatever she asked he would answer, and do his best to keep her entertained and informed as she ate and registered it all.

Noriko nods: being preeminent at fighting seems like it'd come with a better title, but that's her.

"I want to know that no one else I was near is hurt, that'd be nice." She'd like to know all kinds of things, but none of the rest are anything she feels comfortable sharing yet. Maybe ever. She scoots over and picks up an apple: if there's only one way to get to Earth, she's not gonna eat all his food from there.

"We can go talk to him when you want, then, and ask hi to look in on them." He nods, listening to her.

He finds her fascinating.

"I hope you will not find your stay here unpleasant, despite the unwilling nature of it."

She shrugs. "I mean, I can't say I wouldn't prefer to be on my own planet, but this place looks like a riot. Third helmet dude from the left was really helpful in not letting everyone stare at my tits before I woke up."

It had been great fun! She had been very animated, so Noriko applauds the yet-nameless guard on giving her a cape to cover up what she wanted to.

Thor snorted. "Vsldir has daughters your age. he undoubtedly felt some small defensiveness for you."

He chuckled. "You are a beautiful woman and I hope that none did offend thee."

"Nah. They're just breasts, people have seen them before." She shrugs again, much less sarcastically. She's almost amused.

"I don't mind being topless, usually. I just like to have some warning before it happens."

"Of course. One should always have the choice to do as one wishes with one's body. Where were you before you were brought here?" Thor felt he should ask how she ended up in that state.

It seemed unlikely it had been by accident entirely.

"Before here? I was parring with a professor at my school. He has claws, though he normally doesn't make a point to use them. But they caught my shirt and somewhat interrupted the fabric."

She isn't overly perturbed either way: it's not that she's very modest on a good day. She just likes to have control over when and why she's naked. "That'd be why all these little scratches are in threes."

"You are a warrior, then?" He was curious even more so now.

"Ah." He pulled out a small bottle. "Frigga sent this. It is a healing cream. It should erase those scratches."

"Sort of unintentionally, yes. I'm actually studying electrical and C&I engineering," she says. "But when people keep trying to kill you all...things get shifted back on the priority scale."

In order to study anything she needs to not die first. But she takes the cream he offers, and after studying it a minute pulls up the hem of her shirt to apply it to the sets of scratches at weird angles across her belly and ribs. Not that she's in terrible pain from them, but the itching that'll come soon enough she could do without.

"Huh. I dunno who Frigga is, but tell them thanks."

"Aye. I enjoy fighting, but for fun, not war. War is... a plague. and those who would commit it against others are nothing more than plague-bearers." Thor has opinions.

"What is C&I engineering?" He knew little of day to day Midgardian things, still, and was very curious.

"She is the queen, my mother, and the chiefmost warrior healer of Asgard. And I will be sure to tell her, though I am sure she will want to say hello herself."

Noriko chuckles, and sets aside the other portion of her food. She can eat in a minute. "I like sparring, because it's fun to be active. It's a necessity for me, so I may as well enjoy it, and doing all the motions alone can be boring." She shrugs.

War is what it is. She can't say she likes it but she also can't say there's never a need for it.

"C&I is control and instrumentation. Basically it's designing and maintaining machinery processes, and making sure they're working efficiently and effectively. And you could have told me you were a prince, you know. Might have wanted to lead with that."

"Sometime, we should spar then." He grins, eager, now. For this is one of his favorite things.

Though he pauses as his ears and brain catch up. "Why is it a neccesity for you?" Curious concern was in his face.

At her explanation, he nods. "We have something like that. Magical Item design and maintenance." He nods. Then he laughs, cheeks a touch pink.

"In truth, it is not a thing I think on all the time."

She chuckles. "I'm an electrokine, I absorb energy all the time. If I don't have a way of safely getting rid of it, things get a little hairy. My brain starts firing faster than the rest of me can keep up, which is not pretty. Nor pleasant."

Nori aims not to do it all that often, if she can help it.

"Seriously? You get a title, the rest of us peons get to deal with less. You could stand to use it." She won't say he'll inherit, because that's not always the case even with primogeniture. But if his mom's the queen, then he's probably got the fancy birth certificate stuff to go with it.

Thor nods. "I see. I can control lightning, but that does not sound as amazing as what you do."

"In truth, mostly, my duties are to keep the peace out in the Realms. Made harder now by the lack of Bifrost and my brother's recent actions." He sighs, rubbing his face.

"Most see me as a warrior, not nearly a Prince, in truth. And that is how I prefer it." He nods. "And most here are equals, filling roles, but not lesser."

Noriko shrugs. "That's part of it, honestly. I've been hit by lightning a couple times, and it's a hell of a charge." Literally. It's a joke! He can laugh.

"Nothing says I can't see you as both, though. People are multifaceted like that, though if I had to guess you'd be a pretty good warrior." There's a grin sliding across her face at that, because yes he'd be a good one she's not blind. He doesn't have the bodybuilder physique, but the thicker-set strongmen she'd take over that any day. One of them can probably physically throw her, the other...not good for much more than posing in a bikini.

"True. very true." he chuckles and eyes her, and there is admiration in his gaze.

"As I saw you, you definitely look fit as any warrior, and a beautiful one at that, with or without your shirt."

Noriko grins. "I mean, I don't habitually do fights with my shirt off, breasts being somewhat sensitive," she laughs. "But thanks for the compliment."

"I would imagine so. I am sure that sensitivity is useful in other situations, however."

He grins at her. "And you're welcome."

Nori laughs. "I mean, I haven't had anyone complain about it or the rest of me," she chuckles. "Small, but I like them."
