Noriko is found on the floor in her room, lying on the comfortable moss-and-rock-and-pond patterned rug in the late Milliways afternoon sun, surfing internet images. It's about time she got her undercut re-done, and she should consider colors and designs. It's just one of those things, usual upkeep for constantly changing hair: there are, too, pages up for vinyl headphone skins, clothing and fashion, among other things.

She also has the Hamilton soundtrack going--the CD case lying beside the laptop with scribbled signatures all over the cover design--and her headphones over her ears, blocking out most noises but the music.

Time for relaxation.

"Well yeah, but part of me being with you is making sure you won't do something for me that'll adversely affect you," Noriko explained. "Like silly hair color."

Never mind that hers is bright blue and she doesn't care what people think, Nori cares for Remy and that includes his professional reputation. "I could do shadow roots and it'd be easier for you to grow out. You could come with me to get the stuff for it, pick your colors."

"True, but I am sure it won't." He gently poked her. "But thank you. I appreciate it, love." He leaned in to kiss her warmly.

"That sounds like a fun outing, to me." Anything with her sounded fun, really.

"You're welcome." He was always welcome with her, and Noriko showed it with the way she kissed back, twisting to lay on her side, computer pushed away for a moment.

"Slightly less cultured than the last one, though."

He loves hose kisses, and he smiles as he snuggles close.

"Hmmm, sometimes culture is fun, sometimes just doing things together is fun." he nods. "Normal things, everyday things, those are fun, too, sometimes." He grins.

"I'll happily do your hair for you. And you can help me figure out what to do with mine," she says. "Can't decide on longer or shorter. Or to just re-cut the design in the back and leave it long. Ish."

Noriko's hair isn't horribly long now, just long enough to pull up into a topknot, but down it lays just below her shoulders. "This is the longest it's been in a while."

"Oh yeah? I'd like that. Both things." He cocked his head to the side, thinking. "Shorter, maybe? Might be fun."

He reached up to tug at it gently. "I do like it long, but I'll like your hair however it looks."

"I found a cute pixie cut, but I don't know if I'm that brave or not," she said, with a little nervous chuckle. Brave as she was, she was still nervous over getting all her hair cut off.

She reached up to take his hand, freeing the length of her hair. "How long do you like it?"

He smiled. "I think you could pull it off, for sure. "

At her question, he squeezed her hand. "LOng enough to bury my hands in, and just feel your hair, I admit." he chuckled. "But I would also like it when it when it is short."

"Well a pixie definitely isn't long enough to bury anything in," Noriko replied. "It's...super short. Like a boy's haircut, basically yours."

She liked that Remy had a little bit of length to his hair, enough that she could wrap it around her fingers sometimes. "I'll see how badly I chicken out once we get to the place? Gotta get someone else to cut it, I don't take scissors to my hair anymore. And we gotta get your dye."

"I know, and I would like it anyway." He stuck out his tongue at her and flicked it.

"Sounds good to me. I am definitely up for this little trip." He kissed her shoulder and her neck and her mouth softly.

"You might want to put on actual clothes first," she reminded him, though she didn't stop him kissing whatever he felt like. "I mean, I might get jealous of all those other women getting a free show."

And seeing as she could tell exactly how up he was, metaphorically speaking, it'd be quite the show.

Remy rolls one shoulder in a half-shrug. "Den I would get dressed before we go. Don' want you to ever be threatened, at all, chere'." He smirks at her, running a hand along her side, and teasing fingers stroking her hip, before sighing with a smile.

"When do you want to go?"

"Less threatened, more amused. You can look all you want, you have eyes and it's natural, and I won't stop that," she says. "I figure whenever you're ready. I can leave in this, I'm good."

It's just skinny jeans and a tee shirt, but she can rock it and messy hair.

"Good. And okay." He rolled up to his feet, padding to the closet where his bag was, which had more clothing in it. He always had a change or two with him for going out and about. He vanished into the shower to wash off, and was out a few minutes later, wearing a shirt and jeans and loafers over a light version of his armor. Because he did not trust that simple would stay that way.

"Alright, chere' I'm ready."

Noriko rolls over, and grins at Remy as he comes out. "You're gonna make me look bad," she says, in her torn jeans and tee shirt. "You sure you're not looking for sugar daddy status?"

Remy snorts. "Nothing can make you look bad, Noriko. You're gorgeous." And he means it, coming up to her, kneeling, and kissing her, hard.

"I'll stick to partner status."

She grins up at him, and uses Remy as leverage to haul herself up, popping to her feet.

"Good. Because I need a partner more than I need fancy shit I can't actually use or wear."

Remy chuckled. "Most people do, they jus' don' know it." He grinned and shook his head.

"I'm glad you do." He kissed her, and stretched, feeling bouncy to get to do a thing with her. He liked doing things with her.

"Some people are dumb," she says, grabbing her bag and slinging it across her body and taking his hand.

"Let's go turn you into an opal." Noriko grins.

"True facts, beauty." He grins as he nods to her. "Ladies first, Norinori."

He is hoping it will be fun.

"Beauty before brains?" she asks with a twist of a smile as she heads out. It's a short trip through the bar to their world again.

"Cut first. Then color. You want to get a cut for you, too?"

"Bah." He shakes his head and follows her. Her words get a nod. "I think I need one. Not a lot, but a little."

He runs a hand through his hair.

"I mean, you can always help me figure out what to do with mine," she says, swinging their joined hands gently, walking. It's a short trip, relatively, to the hair salon.

"I like this. Just hanging out."

"Your hair would look good as it is, or shorter..." He runs his other hand over her hair, mussing it a little. "I love your hair."

He smiles and nods.

"I like it too. Doing the little things together."

Walking with her felt natural, right, even. It felt... good.

"Yeah? How much shorter you think I should go?" She worries, with her hair, about making it too short and looking like a boy. She doesn't have much in the way of a girlish hourglass figure to show, and between a flat chest and short hair she wants to keep some femininity.

"We could both get the same cut. Walk around like twins," Nori laughs.
